#BePositive

The first nation-wide batteries collection and recycling programme in Lebanon

The #BePositive initiative was created by Diane Foundation to help remove Batteries from household waste, landfills and the environment, by collecting them for recycling.

The problem

Most of the batteries available are safe to use. The problem lays in the disposal of batteries with the general waste. If leaked, Nickel and Cadmium found in batteries, are extremely toxic and can cause damage to humans and the environment. In particular, they can cause soil and water pollution and endanger wildlife.

The solution:

Dispose of your used batteries in our special bins!

We accept the following alkaline household batteries: All household single-use and rechargeable batteries types AAA, AA, C, D, 9-volt as well as button/ coin-shaped batteries.
