The peasant-builders of Lebanon
Date: Thursday, 29 SEPTEMBER 2016, 06:00 PM
Venue: USJ Innovation and sports campus
With the participation of:
Jacques Liger Belair – Architect
About Jacques Liger Belair: Originally from Belgium, he moved to Lebanon in the 1960s as an architect and architectural teacher. Its approach to the field has long been guided by a reflection around the relevance of the models and building materials to be used according to the environmental specificity in which a building must be registered. Liger Belair will be followed by a debate with architect Jacques Abou Khaled, landscape architect Sarah Hage and engineer Wajih Najem. Discussions will then continue with the public. Find us on Thursday, September 29, 2016, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at the cafe of the USJ Innovation and Sports Campus, rue de Damas, 7th floor.
