Waste Diversion Consortium

As landfills are reaching their capacities and waste collection contracts are expiring soon, Fondation Diane created the "Waste Diversion Management Consortium"; a group of 10+ Start-ups looking to help in solving the waste crisis through a waste diversion plan!

The health and future of the children in Lebanon is jeopardized! Initiated by Fondation Diane at the heart of "Hotel-Dieu de France", the "Clinique Sociale de l'Enfant" is a social pediatric clinic that offers an equal quality medical care for all children in Lebanon, from 0 to 18 years old, at no cost!

USJ Verte

Committed to adopt an eco-citizenship approach within USJ, the Chair of "Fondation Diane" (CEEDD) launched in 2016 the “USJ Verte”; a committee that supervises the waste management at all USJ campuses, from sorting to collection and recycling. With more than 1200 sorting bins distributed across 8 campuses, 36 buildings and 160 floors, USJ Verte is successfully raising awareness on the benefits of sorting waste at source and the sustainable management of waste, among 12000 USJ students per year.

Who We Are

Fondation Diane is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political organization that aims to educate, mobilize and support communities to create an environmentally sustainable future and to increase citizen awareness of ecological issues in Lebanon.

Founded by Diana Sfeir Fadel in 2012 as a response to the environmental, economic, political and cultural deterioration in which the country was debating and its disastrous consequences on all levels, as well as the image of Lebanon in the world and the despair in the heart of Lebanese people.
