“Re-Fit” Final Session Workshop

Re-Fit: Distribution of Green Certificates for Businesses in the Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Sectors The final session of the “Green Business Model” workshop for the Re-Fit project was successfully held at Fondation Diane premises in collaboration with ICU. We were glad to gather more than 15 green, young, and motivated entrepreneurs and assist them – with the help of Fondation Diane certified trainers – in developing their cutting-edge projects in the field of renewable energy & energy efficiency and taking their eco-ideas into the next level! The interactive workshop was concluded by an interesting Q&A session about the challenges, the solutions and the future of the energy sector in Lebanon, as well as the distribution of green “certificates of attendance” to each entrepreneur. The Re-Fit project, funded by the European Union and implemented by ICU, Fondation Diane, Arc-en-ciel and Università di Genova, consists of retrofitting public buildings with green technologies and processes, with the goal of contributing to climate change mitigation and a circular economy in Lebanon, with a comprehensive analysis of the current and potential batteries value chain and the goal of boosting innovation in the renewable energy sector.
