Collection of Waste and Debris

In the wake of the August 4 Explosion, a day was dedicated to the collection of waste and debris found in the streets through a collaboration between the Chair, the Club “USJ Verte” and its volunteers.
We would like to thank all the volunteers who contributed to the clean-up of Beirut after the explosion. They managed to sort the waste and to collect a total of 24 bags of plastic waste, 15 bags of paper waste, 5 bags of cardboard waste and 5 bags of glass waste. Fondation Diane truck accompanied the volunteers during their field work to ensure the transportation of waste to the appropriate recycling plants.
